Date TBC: Global Gypsies – Basic Mechanics Course

The Basic Mechanics Course by Global Gypsies is ideal for beginners or those who want to brush up on their skills before they embark on the “Big Trip”.

The course covers topics such as how engines work, common mechanical problems; basic bush repairs; understanding the 4WD concept, trip preparation, basic equipment & accessories, changing flat tyres, towing tips, service & maintenance of vehicles and caravans and more.

The course is held at our CIAWA premises in Cockburn Central and is delivered by Global Gypsies Director, Jeremy Perks, who is a qualified mechanic, accomplished outback traveller and tour leader, former Tour Guide of the Year, and experienced towing and 4WD instructor who holds a Cert IV in Training & Assessment.
